March 20-28, 2002 in the Roy Furman Gallery
A
selection of rarely exhibited photos by and about Ivens
from the extensive collections of the EFJI will be on
view in the Roy Furman Gallery at the Walter Reade Theater
throughout the Retrospective. During his extensive travels
as a filmmaker, Ivens also made still photographs, working
in the US with artists and writers including Paul Strand,
Ernest Hemingway, Robert Flaherty, and Lillian Hellman. |
